THE SNP MSP who quit the Scottish Government in a row over plans to reform the gender recognition process has been hailed as a “heroine” by JK Rowling.
The author, a vocal critic of the reforms whose views have been described as "cruel" and "inaccurate" by LGBT+ campaigners, praised Ash Regan, saying: “This is what a principled politician looks like.”
