Jio launches Rs 200 OTT pack with 15 apps, 1,000 TV channels and unlimited 5G

Reliance Jio on Wednesday launched a new Rs 200 Jio OTT Pass that bundles subscriptions to 15 OTT platforms, access to more than 1,000 live TV channels, 30 GB of high-speed data and unlimited 5G connectivity for 28 days, as telecom operators continue to push content-led offerings to drive user engagement.

The telecom operator said the new pack, which goes live from May 27, is positioned as an all-in-one entertainment and connectivity offering, with benefits worth around Rs 1,500 a month for Rs 200.

The pass includes subscriptions to YouTube Premium, which offers ad-free viewing, offline downloads and background play, JioHotstar Mobile + Hollywood for live sports and international content, and Prime Video Mobile Edition.

Users will also get access to 12 additional OTT platforms through JioTV, including SonyLiv, ZEE5, Lionsgate Play, Discovery+, Sun NXT, FanCode, Hoichoi, Chaupal, Planet Marathi and Tarang Plus.

Apart from OTT access, the pack also includes more than 1,000 live TV channels on JioTV, including over 150 paid channels across entertainment, movies, sports, infotainment and regional programming. These include channels from broadcasters such as JioStar, Sony Entertainment, Sun TV Network, Warner Bros. Discovery and ETV.

The plan comes with 30 GB of 4G/5G data and unlimited 5G usage for the duration of the user’s active base plan, capped at 28 days.

The company said the new offering is aimed at bringing streaming, live television and mobile connectivity under a single fixed-price pack at a time when consumers are increasingly juggling multiple subscriptions across platforms.

The Rs 200 Jio OTT Pass is available across all Jio recharge channels, including MyJio, Jio.com, retail stores and third-party recharge apps. Customers need to have an active base plan to activate the pass, the company added.
