The White House disputes Kimmel's account as critics accuse the FCC of political interference.

Jimmy Kimmel has claimed that the Federal Communications Commission pressured ABC over his interview with Texas Democratic Senate candidate James Talarico, leading the network to keep the segment off broadcast television and release it on YouTube instead. Kimmel revealed the decision during Wednesday's episode of 'Jimmy Kimmel Live', saying it came after what he described as regulatory threats directed at him, his show, ABC and its affiliates. The White House has disputed his account.
