League One side Burton Albion have announced the signing of former Everton striker Oumar Niasse.
The 31-year-old was a free agent after leaving Huddersfield Town last summer, and had been training with the Brewers prior to joining the club on a permanent deal.
Niasse joined Everton from Lokomotiv Moscow in the January transfer window of 2016 for £13.5 million.

However, he struggled to establish himself in the Toffees’ first team.
The Senegal striker subsequently had loan spells with Hull City and Cardiff before he was eventually released by the Toffees in 2020.
Burton boss Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink was delighted to secure Niasse’s services, and is hopeful his experience and pedigree will help his side have a strong end to the season.
“We are obviously aware that Oumar has been out of training for a while since he left Huddersfield," he told the club’s official website .
“He’s been training with us for a short period and has shown a lot of hunger and desire to get back playing.
“We know he’s made over 50 Premier League appearances, and he’s shown us that he can add something to the squad that we have – hopefully he’ll be a good help for us to finish the season strongly.”
