It'll soon be six years since little hero Bradley Lowery passed away but the brave boy's legacy will live on in some serious style next month when a whole host of famous faces, including Jill Scott and James Arthur, take part in a celebrity football match to honour him and raise plenty of money for the Bradley Lowery Foundation.
Bradley captured the hearts of the North East and the whole nation as he battled a rare and aggressive form of childhood cancer called Neuroblastoma, fighting hard every step of the way and forming a close bond with stars including Sunderland player Jermaine Defoe, before his death in 2017, at the age of just six.
Last year it was revealed that over £7million had been raised by the Bradley Lowery Foundation in the five years following Bradley's passing, ro support families who are fundraising for treatment or equipment, which is not readily available on the NHS and fund vital early childhood cancer research.
And now the Foundation is hoping to boost that total even further with the Bradley Lowery match at Sunderland's Stadium of Light on Monday, May 6.
Tickets are £12 for adults and £6 for children and available HERE.
Stars confirmed to be taking part include Sunderland's own Queen of the Jungle, Jill Scott; her I'm A Celebrity co-star Owen Warner and X Factor 2012 winner and Brit nominee James Arthur.
They will be joined by Love Island finalist, ITV racing commentator and Sunderland fan, Chris Hughes; former TOWIE star Dan Osborne, EastEnders actress Danielle Harold, known to millions as Lola and influencer, podcaster and keen footballer Sharky.
