Jharkhand panchayat polls to be held in 4 phases from May 14

OBC Ranchi

RANCHI: The state election commission on Saturday announced a four-phase panchayat election without OBC reservation from May 14 after getting the nod from the governor.

The election was pending since December 2020 because of the Covid pandemic and the state government had provided an extension to the panchayat bodies twice for a period of six months each.
