RANCHI: The 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign proved tragic for a family in Ranchi as three members — two sisters and a brother — were electrocuted while trying to put up a flag on their terrace on Sunday.
The incident occurred at 7.30pm when the city was experiencing a drizzle and high-speed wind. Locals said they were electrocuted as the flag post touched the high-tension overhead wire, running close to the terrace of the Arsande rice mill bound house of Vijay Jha under the Kanke police station area of Ranchi district.
