The Jets made a trade! Just not the one everyone is waiting ever so patiently for.
The Jets have agreed to acquire safety Chuck Clark from the Baltimore Ravens for a 2024 seventh-round pick.
Trade: Jets agreed to send a 2024 seventh-round pick to the Ravens in exchange for safety Chuck Clark, per league sources. Trade is agreed to, but cannot be processed until new league year begins Wednesday.

The deal has been agreed to but cannot be made official until the start of the league year on March 15.
Clark has been a very solid and very durable player over his career. He has missed only two games in six seasons in the league, all with the Ravens. He is also coming off his first 100-tackle season of his career and played in all 17 games.
Clark slides right in at the spot that will be left vacant by the possible retirement of Lamarcus Joyner, who is set to be a free agent anyway. Clark immediately helps boost what was the weakest position group on defense.
Clark has one year left on his contract and is owed about $2.5 million in base salary plus a $1.6 million roster option later this month. A very small price to pay for a very solid player that was just simply becoming the odd man out in Baltimore with the emergence of Kyle Hamilton last season as a rookie.
