Aaron Rodgers is set to be a Jet after the organization reportedly agreed to a blockbuster trade with the Packers on Monday.
It’s safe to say the young New York nucleus is fired up over the deal. Just moments after the trade was reported, both running back Breece Hall and cornerback Sauce Gardner updated their Twitter profile pictures to an image of Rodgers.
The Jets stars both now display a photo of Rodgers in a California football uniform, in which he’s rocking his old No. 8 Golden Bears jersey.
Rodgers is expected to wear the No. 8 in New York, despite franchise legend Joe Namath offering him his retired No. 12.

Hall and Gardner were among the Jets’ most vocal supporters of a Rodgers trade throughout the offseason. Now that the deal is on the verge of completion, they wasted no time celebrating with their new profile pictures.
In addition to his profile photo adjustment, Hall joked that his injured knee was suddenly feeling healthier after the trade.
My Knee feel a lil healthier now😂

It’s remarkable what a bit of good news can do for one’s health!
Hall and Gardner weren’t the only ones to weigh in. Garrett Wilson, who was previously misled by some premature reports of the trade, expressed his excitement via Twitter, too.

Wilson figures to be one of Rodgers’s top targets in New York, but he’s doing his due diligence to make sure he’s not bamboozled by the reports on Monday.
