The New York Jets have signed All-Pro defensive tackle Quinnen Williams to a four-year contract extension worth $96 million, according to multiple reports.
It’s the largest second contract ever for a defensive tackle, per NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.
The #Jets and All-Pro DT Quinnen Williams agreed to terms on a four-year, $96 million megadeal — the largest second contract ever for a defensive tackle, sources tell me and @RapSheet.

Following an All-Pro season in which he recorded 12 sacks — second to only Chris Jones among interior linemen — Williams was in search of a long-term extension as he entered his fifth-year option at $9.6 million.
In an offseason which saw a number of defensive linemen sign new deals, Williams lands the largest of them all at $24 million per year, beating out the $23.5 million per year the Titans gave Jeffery Simmons. Williams is now the second highest-paid defensive tackle in the league, behind only Aaron Donald of the Los Angeles Rams.
The Jets have now locked up both Williams brothers after also giving a three-year, $18 million deal to linebacker Quincy Williams.
Quinnen Williams is the first player drafted by the Jets in the first round to receive a second contract from the team under general manager Joe Douglas and the first since 2011 first-round pick Muhammad Wilkerson.
