The Baltimore Ravens and safety Chuck Clark seemed to have a unique relationship over the past year, with Clark requesting a trade from the organization during the 2022 offseason but still playing with the team come the regular season. However, following the completion of the 2022 league year, Baltimore traded Clark to the New York Jets in exchange for late-round draft compensation.
Following a Jets organized team activity practice, Clark spoke to the New York media and was asked about his time with the Ravens. The veteran safety said that he was ready to leave the organization, and said that he didn’t feel respected by the things that were being said to him by the team, a stark contrast to what he said a mere four months ago during Baltimores’ exit interviews.
"I was ready to get out of there. The things that were said to me…I wasn't being respected."
