Jets QB Aaron Rodgers Shares Dramatic Photos From His Achilles Rehab

Jets injured star quarterback Aaron Rodgers has not been shy about sharing his desire to potentially return to the playing field in 2023, despite suffering a torn Achilles in the season opener against Buffalo.

In recent interviews, the 39-year old signal-caller stated he is well ahead of the original recovery schedule due the fact that his rehab is far from “normal.”

“There is common practices about six weeks in a boot, and I was in a shoe in like 13 days,” Rodgers told ESPN’s Pat McAfee on Tuesday. “Again, this is just my mindset.”

The 10-time Pro Bowler has stated that his mantra is “just because something has never been done doesn’t mean it’s not possible.” On Saturday, the four-time NFL MVP shared black and white photos supporting his strong statements about a quick return to his Instagram page.

“Three weeks into the rise to recovery. #healing,” Rodgers posted as the caption for his rehabilitation pictures.

After an offseason filled with Super Bowl aspirations, Rodgers and the Jets are mired in a 1–3 start with much-maligned quarterback Zach Wilson at the helm.

While there is only so much an athlete can do to speed up the healing process from such a serious injury, Rodgers remains determined to prove he can do the impossible.

On Sunday, Rodgers will be rooting on his teammates as they look to snap a three-game losing streak when they head to Denver to take on Russell Wilson and the Broncos at 4:25 p.m. ET.
