Step one was getting Haason Reddick into the Jets’ building to sign a contract. That was accomplished.
Now we wait and see if he can be ready in time to face the Patriots (1-6) in Week 8.
If you’re asking interim head coach Jeff Ulbrich? He thinks that’s going to happen.
While we wait to hear from Reddick himself, Ulbrich has weighed in on the 30-year-old’s availability ahead of the Jets (2-5) heading out to face the Patriots. Ulbrich indicated that yes, Reddick will be in the fold according, to ESPN:
Ulbrich anticipates that Reddick will play on Sunday, but he still wants to see him over the next two days before making a final decision. #Jets

Last weekend, Reddick ended his long holdout with the Jets. He reported for duty for the first time since being traded from the Eagles to the Jets on Monday.
As the week continues to unfold, Jets Wire will continue to provide updates on Reddick’s availability.
