It was not a good performance from Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
But you can’t argue it was not a gritty one.
Rodgers was tackled and went down awkwardly against the Vikings during the Jets’ 23-17 loss in Week 5.
Rodgers did not miss any time. He was spotted getting looked at but when the Jets quickly got the ball back, Rodgers ran back on the field.
After the loss, Rodgers admitted he was working through some pain after that.
“Definitely banged up,” Rodgers said.
Initially it looked like a possible knee injury. Instead, Rodgers called it a low-ankle sprain.
His health status will be watched throughout the upcoming week ahead of the Jets’ next game against the Bills (3-2).
Rodgers’ full breakdown on his health can be found in the clip below:
#Jets QB Aaron Rodgers admitted that he is ‘definitely banged up’ + believes he’s dealing with a ‘low ankle sprain.’
He said they were trying to get him in the blue tent & then he saw the roughing the punter penalty, ‘I said screw it I’m going back out there.’
