New York Giants rookie wide receiver Malik Nabers has been as advertised since being selected sixth overall back in April. Through just four weeks, he is well on his way to becoming a star in the league.
Star receivers from LSU may sound familiar to Giants fans given the prime years of Odell Beckham Jr. about a decade ago.
Nabers, whom the offense has been running through, is breaking records left and right as defenses are having trouble keeping the ball out of his hands.
Whether fair or unfair, Nabers has also had a few drops in big moments that could have helped the Giants, most notably on a fourth-day play in a Week 2 loss to the Washington Commanders.
Some fans have not been able to let that go. And following another perceived drop in Week 4 against the Dallas Cowboys, there have been calls for Nabers to get it together, so to speak.
New York Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson doesn’t want to hear it.
Shut up bra.

Wilson is one of the league’s best young receivers and it’s nice to see him sticking up for Nabers, who has been nothing short of spectacular for Big Blue.
Although the Giants may have a better record if Nabers converts that fourth down in Week 2 or manages to somehow hang onto the ball in Week 4, the reality is they never would have been in a position to win without him.
Rookies make rookie mistakes and given the number of times Nabers has been targeted, a drop or two is expected.
