Feelings about quarterback Zach Wilson amongst fans might be a bit jaded.
That’s not the case for Aaron Rodgers.
The former New York Jets (2-1) quarterback will be back at MetLife Stadium as a member of the opponent for the first time on Sunday. Wilson, the former first-round pick of the Jets, was traded to the Denver Broncos this offseason.
While Wilson is not slated to start, the welcome he gets could be interesting.
In terms of Rodgers, it’s going to be all love.
Rodgers said he’s still in contact with Wilson. He called the former Jet a person he feels like is his “little brother” earlier this week.
“I enjoyed our time together, on and off the field,” Rodgers said. “Hopefully he gets an opportunity down the road.”
