There was no bad blood between Aaron Rodgers and Robert Saleh during the New York Jets’ win over the New England Patriots.
Of course, social media still had their fun.
The Jets (2-1) topped the Patriots (2-1) in a 24-3 final in Week 3. Early on, there was a moment that caught attention.
After a touchdown, Rodgers and Saleh embraced. The internet thought Rodgers was mad.
He says he was not.
“He’s not a big hugger,” Rodgers joked after the game. “He likes to do the two-handed chest bump.”
Saleh, in his own right, had a laugh about it as well.
Rodgers’ explanation can be found below:
Aaron Rodgers laughs at reporters saying exchange between him & Robert Saleh was awkward
Said Saleh doesn’t usually go for hug & likes to do the chest push like he did
“He talks a lot about 2 score leads, so I gave him a push & said 2 score lead.”#Jets pic.twitter.com/p2971FrVbe
