Jet2 has today announced it is expanding to operate from Liverpool John Lennon Airport.
The flight and holiday operator will begin to fly from the airport in March 2024, with a huge 20 destinations across six countries on offer. Seven of the destinations are exclusive to Jet2, as people cannot currently fly there from Liverpool.
In their first summer of operations from Liverpool, Jet2.com and Jet2holidays will operate up to 54 weekly flights, including 12 flights to both the Canary Islands and the Balearic Islands every week.

The UK's largest tour operator has said its first flight from Liverpool will depart on March 28, 2024.
The news comes after passengers flying from Liverpool passed through security in just 12 minutes on average last summer, and the airport had more on time departures than most other UK airports.
The company’s first summer programme will have 565,000 seats on sale. The seven exclusive summer routes are to Gran Canaria, Menorca, Rhodes, Zante, Madeira, Paphos, and Bourgas in Bulgaria.
