Jet2 has issued a warning to passengers flying from UK airports today.
Tuesday night was the coldest night of the year so far and following a "very chilly" start to Wednesday, the Met Office has issued several yellow weather warnings for snow and ice.
Flights from several airports have been hit by delays, including Bristol and Gatwick. Forecasters have said in most places the snowfall will continue until Friday.

Given the weather, Jet2 has asked passengers to allow extra time for check in and security. They said: "We wanted to let you know that all airports may be busier than usual today due to adverse weather conditions.
"Please allow extra time for check in and security procedures at the airport...
"Please go straight to security once you have checked in. To make sure you're prepared, please check the departure screens for your departure and gate number updates and allow extra time for passport control."
