Jet2 stops requirement for face masks on flights but explains when you need to wear one

Jet2 says it is no longer a legal requirement to wear face masks on its flights or at airports it operates in across England and Northern Ireland.

But as per UK Government Covid guidance, the holiday operator recommends that passengers continue to wear a face mask in these spaces, and you will need to wear one when you get to your overseas destination.

The airline, which is one of the major operators out of East Midlands Airport, says passengers will still have to wear them overseas when leaving the plane and inside the airport they fly to.
