Jet2 has issued an urgent "last chance" warning to holidaymakers ahead of what it is predicted to the travel industry's busiest summer in years.
Recently, a shortage of staff at Leeds Bradford (LBA) and other UK airports following the Covid-19 pandemic has seen huge queues, long delays and in some cases cancellations, with some flyers describing the situation at LBA as a "shambles".
Jet2 is one of the main operators from LBA and according to the airline there has been a "strong demand" for flights and holidays. This has prompted the company to add new routes and destinations in the upcoming weeks and months, Liverpool Echo reports.

And with new flights to hot destinations such as Greece, Spain, Turkey and Portugal, Jet2 is now warning people to not miss out on a summer getaway deal with prices slashed.
In an email sent to Jet2 customers, the airline warned it is the "last chance" to save at least 10 per cent on all flights. It said: "Planning on booking a trip soon? Well you might as well save 10%! Just book before midnight Monday 20 June 2022 and this dazzling discount will be all yours. The final countdown is on, so use it before you lose it…"
Flights on thet Jet2 websites include trips to Ibiza from £28, as well as one-way tickets to Menorca from £30. There are also winter flights to Krakow and Barcelona from £45 and £46, respectively. You can view these offers by visiting the Jet2 website.
