A passenger has died after falling ill on a Jet2 flight at the weekend, the airline has sadly confirmed.
The LS756 flight from Tenerife was due to land at Manchester Airport on Sunday night, April 2, but was forced to make an emergency landing at Cornwall Airport Newquay as the incident unfolded. Witnesses reported that the passenger, understood to be a woman, received CPR on the plane.
A passenger who was on board the flight told the Manchester Evening News: "A few hours into the flight a man was helping a woman he was with to the bathroom. She looked to be in quite a state and was in distress.
