Airline and tour operator Jet2.com and Jet2holidays has marked five years of flights and package holidays from Birmingham and London Stansted Airports. The travel firm started operating from the airports in 2017 and passengers were given a VIP send-off.
Since then, the companies have experienced substantial growth and success, with over five million customers having travelled on either a flight with Jet2.com or a package holiday with Jet2holidays from each of the bases. Back then, the firm operated to 15 destinations from Birmingham Airport whereas the companies now operate to 60 sun, city and ski holiday hotspots.
From London Stansted Airport, Jet2.com and Jet2holidays operated to 21 destinations when they first launched and today now travel to 48 sun, city and ski holiday hotspots. The fifth anniversary marks the continued growth and success Jet2.com and Jet2holidays has experienced at Birmingham and London Stansted Airports.
They now offer daily flights to some of the most popular sun and city destinations across the Mediterranean, Canary Islands and Europe – with Alicante proving to be Birmingham customers’ number one sunshine destination and from London Stansted it is Tenerife.
