Jet2 gives travel update and welcomes ‘game-changing’ step towards normality

Airline and holiday operator Jet2 has responded to the news that fully vaccinated customers and under 18s will be able to holiday without taking a test or having to self-isolate on their return to the UK.

The company has called the move a ‘game-changer’ for customers and the travel industry.

Responding to the latest travel update from the UK Government, which means fully vaccinated customers will no longer have to take a Day Two lateral flow test after arriving in the UK from 4am on February 11, in addition to the simplification of Passenger Locator Forms, Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2, said: “This travel update is a real game-changer for the millions of people who simply want to get away to enjoy their well-deserved holidays.
