A Jet2 flight was forced to make a sudden diversion this evening after an emergency.
The flight, travelling from Tenerife to Manchester Airport was diverted to Newquay on Sunday, April 2. It is believed to have landed at Cornwall Airport Newquay shortly before 6pm.
It was later confirmed by the airline that the reason for the sudden diversion was due to a passenger on board requiring medical assistance, the Manchester Evening News reports.
