Jet2 flight diverts after pensioner attacks crew 'for no free champagne'

Jet2 TikTok

A rowdy pensioner was filmed hitting a Jet2 flight attendant on the head during a flight, after he allegedly took her gin and tonic away from her and there was no free champagne.

The incident occurred on a Jet2 flight from Manchester Airport to Rhodes, Greece, which flew out last Wednesday, August 26. The footage then went viral on TikTok.

The recording appears to show the elderly grey-haired woman getting irritated with another passenger. Tensions reportedly began to boil when her request for free champagne was declined.
