Summer in the city is heating up and tour operator and airline Jet2 is responding to the rising popularity of short breaks to a selection of attractive locations. Its City Breaks programme for Summer 23 has been announced with flights and trips to 12 city destinations from six UK bases.
With demand for city breaks in the sunshine soaring, Jet2 has confirmed its range of destinations from Birmingham, Glasgow, Leeds Bradford, Manchester, Newcastle and London Stansted Airports. New destinations on sale from London Stansted Airport are Athens and Rome, with Verona in Italy now available from Newcastle.
The expanded programme has increased capacity compared to Summer 22 by more than 25 per cent. Steve Heapy, chief executive of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, said: “Customers have been telling us that people are looking ahead and booking a much-needed city break in the diary. As such, demand for city breaks is increasing for Summer 23.
