Scots will be given the chance to enjoy once-in-a-lifetime trips to Iceland from Scotland this winter after Jet2.com announced an expanded programme of flights.
The firm said it will give local holidaymakers even more opportunities to experience this incredible destination, at the best times of year to experience the spectacular Northern Lights.
Scots can choose from eight trips – including five trips departing from Glasgow Airport and three trips departing from Edinburgh Airport. It'll mean more opportunities to visit the cityscape of Reykjavik, see the spectacular Northern Lights, or enjoy the stunning Golden Circle and its geothermal lagoons, spas and waterfalls.
The firm revealed that customers can pick from flight-only or package holiday options, with package options with Jet2CityBreaks available for a low £60 per person deposit. Package options with Jet2CityBreaks include a guided Northern Lights Tour, flights with Jet2.com, including 22kg hold luggage and transfers to and from the airport, as well as a choice of 3 and 4-star hotels in central Reykjavik which provide the perfect base from which to explore and experience authentic Icelandic cuisine.
In addition, a choice of excursions are also available to purchase including those to the South Shore , Golden Circle and Blue Lagoon .

The full programme from Edinburgh Airport is as follows:
- Four-night trip from 9 th November – 13 th November 2023
- Three-night trip from 19 th February – 22 nd February 2024
- Four-night trip from 7 th March – 11 th March 2024
The full programme from Glasgow Airport is as follows:
- Three-night trip from 13 th November – 16 th November 2023
- Four-night trip from 16 th November – 20 th November 2023
- Four-night trip from 8 th February – 12 th February 2024, perfectly timed for the February half-term
- Four-night trip from 29 th February - 4 th March 2024
- Three-night trip from 18 th March – 21 st March
