Jesy Nelson sent her fans into a frenzy on Friday morning after sharing a video on Instagram that could suggest new music is on the way.
The former Little Mix star appeared in a bathtub with her modesty covered by soap suds in a six second clip featuring a melancholic instrumental in the background.
The 30-year old, who has 8.7 million followers on the social media platform, made her debut as a solo artist with the release of her single 'Boyz' featuring rapper Nicki Minaj in October.
It peaked at number four in the UK singles chart leaving fans eager to hear what the star has up her sleeve next.
The star simply captioned the post with an 'eyes' emoji, which only fuelled speculation further.
And within two hours of posting in the early hours, the video had been played 40,000 times and received over 400 replies.
Naturally, numerous questions were asked.
One excited fan said: "Wait...this means new music is coming soon?"
Another added: "Will we have an announcement this month?"
A third questioned: "Are you finally dropping your next single?"
Singer Jesy will no doubt be buoyed by the enthusiasm for her new material after a difficult month.
She appeared to split with her on-off boyfriend Harry James in April with the pair unfollowing each other on social media.
It was reported that Jesy had chosen to revamp the team around her - including Harry, who edited the video for 'Boyz' - ahead of an imminent career relaunch.
Romford-born Jesy was then seemingly the subject of a dig made by her ex-band mates Perrie Edwards, Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock as they kicked off their final ever live tour with a show in Belfast.
Fans spotted some of the lyrics to their track Gloves Up changed during the performance, with Leigh-Anne belting out 'legend of the three divas' instead of 'four' in the original version.
Jesy shocked fans last year when she announced she was leaving the girl group after suffering anxiety, depression and vicious online bullying over her appearance.
