Jesy Nelson caused quite the stir on Wednesday evening as she uploaded a new snap of herself to Instagram of her wearing a revealing red bikini.
The Little Mix singer has garnered more than 16,000 likes in two hours, with many commenting on her figure, mostly with fire emojis.
"Beauty is an understatement with you," one person wrote. "You absolute stunner of a woman," another added.
Others opted for a slightly more cheesy response. "Are you a parking ticket cause you’ve got fine written all over you," said one Instagrammer.
Nelson, 31, can be seen sporting several tattoos in the pic. She reportedly has 15 in total, with one on her upper right arm which reads: "Music is the strongest form of magic".
Some users interpreted the raunchy post as a teaser for her much-anticipated debut solo album.
"Is something coming?" one person asked, while another added: "If these are lyrics I’m dying to hear it Jessica."
Earlier this month, representatives for Nelson hit back at reports that record label bosses are unimpressed by her solo efforts and that the album threatens to be scrapped, saying her “captivating” new record is still on course and set for release soon.
The former Little Mix star has been working for months in the studio preparing her debut album.
A spokesperson said: “In recent months, Jesy has been in the studio recording in Los Angeles developing her body of work with a whole series of tracks. And fans can rest assured they can expect to hear new music from Jesy very soon."
A source added: “The new music is captivating…it’s going to raise the bar, and some.”
The Boyz singer sparked controversy last year when she released her first-ever solo single as she was accused of appropriating black culture in her accompanying music video.
A music insider told The Sun on Sunday that after the release of Boyz last year, she let the label hear early versions of the songs she had come up with.
They claimed they wanted her to go back “to go back to the drawing board”.
However, an insider said that contrary to that version of events, things had been progressing “at normal speed and without any hiccups".
The source added: “everyone is very excited by the new music. It’s going to be very special indeed.”
Little Mix have had five number-one singles, including 'Shout Out to My Ex' and 'Sweet Melody'.
The group have sold over 28 million singles and 3.6 million albums in the UK, collated 12 billion streams across all streaming platforms, and have sold over 65 million records worldwide, making them one of the most successful girl bands in the world.
They have an estimated net worth of £54 million.
