Jesy Nelson confirms new music is coming next year after controversial Boyz solo single

Jesy Nelson has revealed that she's set to release brand-new music in the New Year after reportedly hosting a 'listening party' with her friends.

The former Little Mix star, 31, split from her record label over creative differences after reports that she was sent 'back to the drawing board' over the album’s material.

Earlier this year, the Shout Out To My Ex hitmaker parted ways with label Polydor after they ‘failed to agree on new music’.

After re-working her debut album, Jesy is said to be 'overwhelmed' by the positive reaction from her close pals after she gave them an exclusive preview to her newest tunes.

Lifting the lid on her new album, Jesy told fans: "Hello my beautiful people, I am back!’ she wrote after returning to social media following a break. ‘I decided I needed a bit of a social media break and it did me the world of good. I have missed you all so much.

"Thank you to all my amazing fans for being so loyal and patient I promise you there will be music soon but wanted to make sure it was perfect,’ she said. ‘Keep your eyes out for some clues but it is coming early next year."

Jesy released her debut single in October last year, which did well in the charts despite being surrounded by in controversy over alleged black-fishing claims, which Jesy has continued to vehemently deny.

Following the drama, Jesy is now excited about her new album - with her pals hoping her new music will resonate with more fans.
