Jessica Biel Wears a Plunging Dolce & Gabbana Blazer and Sheer Skirt to the 'Matchbox The Movie' Premiere

Jessica Biel wore an all-black Dolce & Gabbana look to the world premiere of Matchbox The Movie in New York on Monday, Oct. 5, pairing a plunging double-breasted blazer with a sheer floor-length skirt. The actress walked the carpet at AMC Lincoln Square with co-stars John Cena, Sam Richardson, Teyonah Parris and Arturo Castro, four days before the film begins streaming on Apple TV on Oct. 9.

The outfit was built from two pieces that pull in opposite directions. On top was a sharply cut black double-breasted blazer worn without a top underneath, so the deep V of the lapels did the job a neckline usually does. Below it, a long black skirt in fully transparent fabric fell to the floor. The tailoring supplied the structure and the skirt supplied the exposure, which is what kept a head-to-toe black look from reading as a plain suit.
