Jesse Marsch urged to recall Leeds United key man with Luke Ayling decision made

Leeds United supporters have urged Jesse Marsch to recall Patrick Bamford to the starting XI against Crystal Palace. Bamford has featured from the bench in each of the last three matches with Marsch looking to ease him back into the fold after 12 months of injury problems.

But with Luis Sinisterra suspended for tomorrow’s trip to Selhurst Park, a spot has opened up in Leeds’ front four and fans want to see Bamford as the man to come in. Elsewhere, it is same again from the 0-0 draw with Aston Villa.

Illan Meslier, Rasmus Kristensen, Robin Koch, Liam Cooper and Pascal Struijk make up the back five, with Luke Ayling and Junior Firpo again having to settle for spots on the bench. Marc Roca and Tyler Adams have been backed to continue their ever-blossoming partnership in central midfield.

It is in the front four where Marsch will be forced to undertake a slight tactical reshuffle. With fans calling for Bamford to be given the nod up front, that would mean Rodrigo Moreno dropping slightly deeper than last week into the number 10 position.

Brenden Aaronson, as a result, would move back out to the right-hand side – which is where he started the season. Jack Harrison was the man who played on the right last weekend, but fans are expecting him to return to his more favoured left-wing position.

Leeds fans XI: Illan Meslier; Rasmus Kristensen, Robin Koch, Liam Cooper, Pascal Struijk; Tyler Adams, Marc Roca; Brenden Aaronson, Rodrigo, Jack Harrison; Patrick Bamford
