Jesse Marsch sent Georginio Rutter debut message ahead of Leeds United's trip to Accrington Stanley

Leeds United head coach Jesse Marsch has been told by supporters to give Georginio Rutter his first start in English football against League One opponents Accrington Stanley this weekend in the FA Cup fourth round.

The former Hoffenheim striker signed for the Whites earlier this month but is yet to make an appearance for his new club although fans are hoping that Saturday's lunchtime kick-off is when he'll first lace his boots for Leeds.

The Whites boss has already admitted earlier this week that there's a high probability that he'll be starting while also bringing in rotational players, something LeedsLive readers have taken into account when choosing their starting XI for this weekend.

Illan Meslier stays between the sticks after he featured in the third round replay against Cardiff City, while Robin Koch comes in for Diego Llorente with an otherwise-unchanged back four that features Rasmus Kristensen, Max Wober and Junior Firpo.

Whites fans have then opted for a three in midfield, with Marc Roca sat in front of the defence while Darko Gyabi and Luis Sinisterra pair up ahead of him. Gyabi's inclusion in Friday's under-21s match at Norwich means his presences in Lancashire is unlikely, however.

Supporters have also opted to rest Rodrigo after his fantastic showings over the past few weeks, meaning Patrick Bamford gets his first start since returning from injury alongside Georginio Rutter and starboy Wilfried Gnonto out on the left.

Full Leeds United fan XI (4-3-3): Meslier; Kristensen, Wober, Koch, Firpo; Roca, Gyabi, Sinisterra; Bamford, Rutter, Gnonto.
