Jesse Marsch is coming under increasing pressure at Leeds United following a dismal run of results that has seen them slide into the relegation zone. The Whites picked up seven points from their opening three matches but have accumulated just two in the eight that have followed.
Leeds' recent run of form under Marsch has now eclipsed that of Marcelo Bielsa's final few weeks in charge at Elland Road, which prompted his sacking in February. Bielsa won none of his final six matches at the club, a run which included five defeats and a concession of 21 goals.
That said, the Argentine's last week brought matches against Manchester United, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur, a considerably tougher run than what Marsch has faced recently. Excluding the 1-0 defeat to Arsenal, Leeds have faced a spell of fixtures against sides, on paper, they will have fancied a decent return of points from.
