Nottingham Forest forward Jesse Lingard has sent a message to his former Manchester United and England teammate Marcus Rashford.
Rashford featured for England as they crashed out of the World Cup after losing 2-1 to France in Qatar on Saturday, coming on in the 85th minute despite being the Three Lions' top scorer at the tournament.
Forest star Lingard, who played with Rashford at United, sent a message to his pal after England's exit. Despite there being an age gap between the two, they are close and have always been supportive of each other's careers.

Taking to Instagram on Sunday, Rashford wrote: "The last few weeks have been a rollercoaster of emotions. Each and every one of our team gave everything we had to be ready for what was thrown at us. We got close, but not close enough.
"I’ll make a promise that we will come again. Thank you for the unconditional support we have received throughout the tournament - it hasn't gone unnoticed."
Lingard was among those to comment under the post, writing: "Proud of you brother" with three red heart emojis.
