Jerry Jeudy eclipses career milestone in first season with the Browns

In his first season with the Cleveland Browns, wide receiver Jerry Jeudy has eclipsed 1,000 yards for the first time in his young career.

Just 25 years old, the Browns traded two Day 3 NFL draft picks for him to the Denver Broncos. They then reached out and extended him early and ahead of schedule. That looks like a rare excellent decision for the Browns as they likely saved themselves millions per year on his new deal.

After hitting the 1,000-yard mark, Jeudy sits with seven catches and 81 yards in the second half of the Week 15 game against the 12-1 Kansas City Chiefs. Since the trade of Amari Cooper, the Browns have gotten the most out of the former first round pick, and he has stepped up to the plate.

On the season, Jeudy now sits with 1,025 yards receiving on 66 catches.

Can he continue his career year and play himself into his first career Pro Bowl as well as he sits in the upper echelon of receiving yards through 14 games? He certainly still has much to play for despite an abysmal Browns season.

Congratulations, Jerry!
