Jeremy Vine has been swamped with complaints after holding a debate on the Covid vaccine on his Channel 5 show on January 24.
Last week, broadcasting regulator Ofcom revealed that 199 viewers contacted them to complain about comments made on air.
And now the tally of complaints have hiked up to 761 over the same episode where Yasmin alibhai-brown and Lowri Turner sat and discussed, alongside host Jeremy, if the government should scrap mandatory jabs for NHS workers.
Several viewers were enraged by comments made and took to social media to share that they were concerned that misinformation was being spread on the show.
An upset viewer typed: "@JeremyVineOn5 @theJeremyVine and @y_alibhai JV you made no attempt to correct her misinformation and put her, and your viewers right - that anybody can contract or pass it on. Why not? Your failure contributes to the fearmongering and divisiveness."
A second added: "It's unbearable to endlessly watch people talk about these things when they're basing their opinions on false and missing information."
A third joined in: "Shock, this woman being extreme again.. almost like it’s just for the TV."
Others agreed with Yasmin that NHS staff should be jabbed and that if they don't they should be sacked.
The debate took place before Health Secretary Sajid Javid has confirmed that plans for mandatory Covid jabs will be ditched for NHS and care staff.
This week Jeremy 's co-host Storm Huntley revealed that she is pregnant and expecting her first child with husband Kerr Okan.
The couple took to social media to reveal the happy news.
