Jeremy Vine replaced on Channel 5 show with new host revealed

Presenter Jeremy Vine is set to be replaced on his daytime show. The BBC radio presenter, who is also known for his daytime show on Channel 5, will hand over to Myleene Klass, a former ITV I'm A Celebrity Star.

Myleene will take the show on while the usual host Jeremy Vine is off, reports Birmingham Live. Myleene said: "As viewers know I’m a regular guest and a huge fan of the show.

"What a treat to be able to step into Jeremy’s shoes. All your favourite panellists will be joining me and with a line-up of top guests and our callers who make the show so interesting. I’m really looking forward to it.”

What's the best place to live? Let us know.

The daily show airs on Channel 5 and also on My5 from 9.15am to 11.15am. Myleene will be in the hot seat from Monday, June 26. The Hear'Say star is set to host the show for a week while Jeremy takes some leave.

Suzanne tweeted: "Fantastic news Myleene is a class act in every respect. She always knows her facts and will be a welcome addition. Meanwhile I was so disappointed to see Lizzie Cundy on the panel today she is the complete opposite and I am embarrassed for her every time she opens her mouth."

"Oh all week?? She’s nice but she’s not exactly gritty is she?" Me said. Elizabeth typed: "Just hope she won't be biased with callers and won't interrupt those she disagrees with as most presenters do."

MW said: "I may watch again. Jeremy Vine is annoyingly awful. Change the range of panelists too please." Sir Digby said: "Brilliant. Always liked myleene. The talented one of the group. And loved her facial reaction to the white balcony comment."

Myleene won the I'm A Celebrity all-stars spin-off in South Africa last month, having filmed it for ITV last year.
