Jeremy Renner has admitted he would relive his terrifying snow plough accident if it meant saving his nephew again.
The 52-year-old actor revealed he was "awake through every moment" of the horror accident which saw him suffer a string of injuries.
Jeremy was left fighting for his life after he was was crushed by his 14,330lb snow plough on New Year's Day, suffering blunt chest trauma and orthopaedic injuries.
He was airlifted to hospital following the accident and broke more than 30 bones in the crush.
In his first interview since the incident, the Marvel star opened up about his experience and said he feels like "a lucky man".
Despite his extensive injuries, Jeremy bravely admitted: "I'd do it again. Because it [the snowplough] was going right at my nephew."
Speaking to US broadcaster Diane Sawyer for an hour-long special, Jeremy confirmed he broke eight ribs in 14 places, sustained multiple breaks to his legs and severe damage to his shoulder and face.
He also had a lung collapse and a rib bone pierced his liver.
The programme, which will air on April 6, will also feature interviews with the actor's nephew and a recording of the 911 call following the accident.
In a trailer for the interview, his nephew said he "didn't think he was alive" after seeing Jeremy with "a pool of blood coming from his head."
Asked if he sees the same face when he looks in the mirror now, Jeremy replied: "No, I see a lucky man."
"I chose to survive. You’re not going to kill me. No way," he says in the teaser trailer.
The trailer also features a recording of the 911 call in which the actor can be heard moaning in pain.
The start of the clip shows Jeremy acting as Hawkeye, with a voiceover saying: "A superhero of the Avengers, fearlessly taking on any fight."
The video then cuts to Jeremy as he recovers from his accident.
"An ordinary man with a strength that never gives up who risked his own life to try and save his nephew," the voiceover continues.
