Actor Jeremy Renner has undergone two surgeries after an horrific snow plowing incident on New Year's Day. The Hawkeye star remains in intensive care after suffering blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries, and remains in a critical but stable condition, reports CNN.
He was reportedly attempting to clear a path while plowing his driveway to his five-bedroom Lake Tahoe Ranch in Nevada following blizzard conditions in the US. The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office in Nevada said in a news release that it is investigating the incident.
Unconfirmed reports suggest a plowing machine - called a Snowcat - accidentally ran over one of Jeremy's legs, and he was losing a lot of blood from the injury. TMZ reports that one of his neighbors, a doctor, potentially saved his life by putting a tourniquet on his leg until paramedics arrived.
