Jeremy Renner issued his fans with a health update five months after his horrific snow plough accident.
The Hollywood actor took to his Instagram Stories to let his 20.7million followers in on his rehabilitation, stating that he'd made "great progress" since the accident.
"Lower pain levels mark great progress," he wrote alongside a clip of him working out on a treadmill. "Making recovery and surpassing goals. A daily habit!"
Earlier this week, Jeremy shared another workout video along with a second update in his caption.
The 52 year old explained that he was "pushing through the pain" due to his shattered tibia and that he "felt like a tin man" because he continuously "needed oil" for his new joints.
"I’ve decided to push through the pain of progress(this damn shattered tibia) and take the new parts for a tiny test drive," he penned. "The body is miraculous…. Even though I feel like the Tin Man, needing oil for all my new joints (hips, knees, ankles, tibia etc ) . Encouraged after this warm up to press on ( don’t tell my PT)."
Last month, Jeremy told Jimmy Kimmel Live audiences that he was "lucky" to have survived being crushed by a 14,000 pound snow plough despite suffering from major injuries and more than 30 broken bones.
He was hospitalised under a critical condition after the accident.
He revealed that it was fortunate that the machine missed the critical parts of his anatomy, saying: "It just missed every vertebrae, did not hit any organs, membrane did not swell.
"My eye did pop out — that's weird — but I got pretty lucky that none of the organs got messed up."
When asked what the best thing to come from the incident was, Jeremy confessed that he'd been enjoying the time off work and his new lifestyle changes, including losing 200 pounds.
"I was making so many plans, I was going to buy a boat," he told Jimmy. "I was going to live in Mexico ... because my year was pretty jammed up until I got crushed, right?"
"Then also it was like a New Year's resolution, I did drop like 20 pounds. I quit smoking, it's easy! Easiest way to quit smoking, I'm telling you!"
