Host Jeremy Kyle is set to return to our TV screens after almost three years away, following the sudden cancellation of 'The Jeremy Kyle Show' in 2019. The 56-year-old is one of a host of personalities who will be heading up TalkTV, the offshoot of TalkRadio, later next month.
After almost three years off our screens, Kyle, who currently hosts a drive time radio spot on the digital radio channel, will be back for it's visual TV launch on April 25. His comeback comes just weeks after the the explosive Channel 4 documentary 'Death on Daytime', which saw former staff members of 'The Jeremy Kyle Show' anonymously allege toxic backstage behaviour.
The news follows the radio station's 'fast growth' in recent years, including its move to broadcasting TalkRadio TV in 2021. A statement for the channel read: "TalkTV’s primetime schedule will also be simulcast on TalkRadio. And TalkRadio’s roster of daytime talent, including Julia Hartley-Brewer, Mike Graham, Ian Collins and Jeremy Kyle, will be broadcast on talkTV.

"TalkRadio has seen fast growth in recent years across all platforms and has been broadcasting successfully on talkRadio TV since last year." The new venture from News UK will air on linear TV platforms as well as online services such as Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV and YouTube.
TV personality Sharon Osbourne and The Sun’s former political editor Tom Newton Dunn have also both joined TalkTV to present current affairs shows. And Piers Morgan’s new global show, Uncensored, will launch on the same day via TalkTV in the UK, Fox Nation in the US and Sky News in Australia.
TalkTV will be broadcast from studios in Ealing as well as the News UK headquarters in London Bridge. News UK broadcasting president Scott Taunton added: "We have a roster of new talent who will bring compelling new shows to the screen every weekday evening, alongside journalists from across News UK who have expertise in every genre.
"Our existing professional talent on TalkRadio already have their own followings and we will be bringing these popular and informed discussions about news and current affairs to a wider audience. Our launch schedule should get the nation talking and bring new choice to viewers in the market."
