Tory MP Jeremy Hunt had his surname mispronounced as a swear word by Sky News presenter Sophy Ridge in a mortifying gaffe.

A clip of the incident soon went viral after Ridge's unfortunate slip, according to the Daily Star.

She was discussing Hunt as a possible successor to Prime Minister Boris Johnson in light of Monday's confidence vote and mistakenly used an expletive.
