Jeremy Clarkson’s co-star Kaleb Cooper has said that the presenter’s lack of improvement in farming since Clarkson’s Farm launched is “very dangerous”.
Cooper, from Chipping Norton, has worked in the industry since he was in school and has become a viewer favourite since appearing in all eight episodes of the popular Prime Video series Clarkson’s Farm.
The show follows the former Top Gear host attempting to run his farm, called Diddly Squat, in the Cotswolds with no farming experience.
Cooper, 24, appeared on Wednesday’s episode of This Morning to discuss the show and what viewers can expect in Season two, which has now wrapped up filming.
When host Holly Willoughby asked if the 62-year-old’s farming has improved, Cooper paused before replying bluntly: “Er, no. To be honest, how I could describe it now is that he has little knowledge and that is very dangerous.”
Willoughby and co-host Phillip Schofield instantly burst into laughter.
The farmer’s appearance comes just days after Clarkson’s war against the “red-trouser brigade” rumbled on, when council bosses accused him of “ignoring” their orders by continuing to operate the “unlawful” cafe and restaurant on his popular farm.
