Jeremy Clarkson's girlfriend performs athletic backflip off boat as fans ask him to try

Jeremy Clarkson has jetted off to France with his girlfriend Lisa Hogan and recently left fans amazed after sharing a video of her performing an impressive backflip.

62-year-old Jeremy and Lisa, 49, enjoyed a boat trip on Tuesday, as the former actress showed off her skills and jumped into the water.

Former Top Gear host Jeremy shared a clip of the moment on Instagram.

Lisa wore a scoop neck black swimsuit as she tossed her hands back before backflipping into the sea.

Alongside the slow motion video, Jeremy said: "Just amazing. I mean she was born in the sixties," as fans urged him to give it a try himself.

One person commented: "Now you try Clarkson," while another said: "Your turn. Same technique please!"

A third fan wrote: "I’ll be more amazed if you do it Jezza."

Another said: "Now I want to see how "elegant" it is when Jeremy does this."

Although Jeremy didn't rise to the challenge, he has been sharing regular updates of their holiday. Posting a shot of Lisa relaxing on a boat with two glasses of wine, Jeremy wrote: "Perfect."

Jeremy recently faced some backlash after tweeting about the heatwave in the UK, after parts of the country recorded temperatures of more than 40 degrees.

He appeared to make a dig at the Met Office's red extreme heat warning and said: "It’s very hot in the south of France but so far as I know, there’s no DefCon 8 level 3 killer death heatwave warning in place."

However, he seems to be misinformed as France has a number of weather warnings in place across the country.

Jeremy's tweet received more than 48,000 likes while many replied to let Jeremy know he was misinformed.

One person said: "No, but there’s a Defcon 8 level 3 weapons grade numpty tweeting right here."

Another wrote: "The French are taking it very seriously. There are red level extreme heat warnings in the west," while a third commented: "Sometimes Jeremy, it's fine to not tweet when you're so obviously in the wrong..."
