Jeremy Clarkson’s daughter addresses his Meghan Markle "I hate her" rant

Jeremy Clarkson's daughter has spoken out against her dad after he wrote about how he 'hates' Meghan Markle.

Emily Clarkson clarified that she stands against 'everything' her dad wrote about the former Duchess after he said he hated Meghan on 'a cellular level' and described a sick desire to see her paraded 'naked through the streets of every town in Britain' in his latest column for The Sun. It comes as the second half of Harry and Meghan's documentary aired on Netflix last week.

Jeremy also compared his hate for Meghan to that of serial killer Rose West. In the article, published on Friday (December 16), he said he felt ‘sorry’ for Prince Harry, who he dubbed a ‘glove puppet,' with the Who Wants To Be A Millionaire presenter claiming he is controlled by his wife.

He said: "Meghan, though, is a different story. I hate her. Not like I hate Nicola Sturgeon or Rose West. I hate her on a cellular level.

"At night, I’m unable to sleep as I lie there, grinding my teeth and dreaming of the day when she is made to parade naked through the streets of every town in Britain while the crowds chant, “Shame!” and throw lumps of excrement at her.

"But what makes me despair is that younger people, especially girls, think she’s pretty cool. They think she was a prisoner of Buckingham Palace, forced to talk about nothing but embroidery and kittens. That makes me even angrier. Can’t they see everything that’s happening is so very obviously pre-planned."

Author Emily took to her Instagram stories on Sunday (November 18) to speak out against her dad's remarks. She wrote: "My views are and have always been clear when it comes to misogyny, bullying and the treatment of women by the media.

"I want to make it very clear that I stand against everything that my dad wrote about Meghan Markle and I remain standing in support of those that are targeted with online hatred."

Earlier in the week, Emily posted a screenshot of a Daily Mail headline about Harry and Meghan dropping 'yet another' trailer for their Netflix show. In a lengthy caption, she criticised the publication and said it, like others, are 'hellbent' on destroyed Meghan.

She wrote: "This publication, and many like it, are hellbent on DESTROYING this woman. Love her or hate her, (or like me feel a large amount of ambivalence towards someone who I don't know and who's actions barely affect me), the rhetoric around her ought to scare you.

"I don't wanna hear loads of comments justifying this, trying to prove to me that she is bad or toxic or deserving of this... to my mind, no one deserves this. it is inhumane.

"My steadfast defence of them has never been of the individuals I don't know, rather of two people who have, objectively, been treated APPALLINGLY. And I genuinely feel concern for anyone who can look at how she particularly has been written/joked/spoken about and feel that its justified. Its bullying on a mass scale and it drove a new mother to want to end her life.

"There's a bunch of stuff people ae choosing to debate, from Meghan's experience of racism at the hand of the press (not for anyone to deny IMO), to whether or not they should be doing and saying various things - I don't know them or enough about the royals to have answers on that, I'm not a super fan blind to every critique of them, all I do know is that whilst I'm watching this, I feel DEEP discomfort with our lack of humanity towards these two people.

"One publication with almost 25,000 hits matching their combined names. Another combined 50K if you search their names individually. In one of however many publications doing this to them... And now they wanna have their say in a six part episode?!! FAIR F***S IMO."

Harry and Meghan's six-part documentary details their decision to step away as senior working members of the Royal family. Some of the more explosive claims by the pair included Harry talking of the 'terrifying' moment his brother 'screamed and shouted' at him, and when the duchess described feeling suicidal after her treatment by the British media.
