Jeremy Clarkson is now odds-on to become an MP at the next general election, according to bookmakers, after a surge in bets following his hint that he may run for office.

The former Top Gear presenter and current Clarkson’s Farm star has been priced at 2/1 to win a seat in Parliament, with odds of 250/1 to one day become Prime Minister.
