Last Saturday, Meyer announced their engagement by sharing photos of Ogunlesi's surprise proposal. She flaunted a stunning engagement ring featuring a large emerald-shaped diamond flanked by two trapezoid baguette diamonds on a gold band. Meyer expressed her surprise and delight, confirming that Ogunlesi orchestrated the entire proposal.
The couple has been romantically involved since last summer and made their red carpet debut in November 2023. Meyer was previously married to Tobey Maguire, with whom she shares two children: daughter Ruby, 17, and son Otis, 15.
Ogunlesi, the son of Nigerian billionaire Adebayo Ogunlesi, is the CEO of the Ogunlesi Group, an entertainment and music management company he founded. Adebayo, a lawyer and investment banker, co-founded the private equity firm Global Infrastructure Partners and boasts a net worth of $1.7 billion, according to Forbes.
