This Is Me…Now: A Love Story is the latest film by Jennifer Lopez that has captured the hearts of viewers with its unique storyline and captivating performances. Inspired by her own love story with Ben Affleck, the Amazon original showcases a fictionalized version of Lopez as she navigates through the ups and downs of relationships and self-discovery over the past two decades.
Directed by Dave Meyers, the film takes a creative approach by incorporating Affleck's presence in subtle ways. While the actor does make appearances, his face remains hidden or disguised, symbolizing his constant presence in Lopez's life even during their time apart. The decision to focus on Lopez's personal growth rather than solely on her reunion with Affleck adds depth and relatability to the narrative.
